There are days where I’m unreasonably unmotivated, my aura is completely off, and I just don’t wanna be bothered with anything. Today was one of those days. When I got home from work, I moped around the house for what seemed like forever, wondering what was making me feel so down in the dumps.
After a while, I lit my eucalyptus candle and began reading The Emerald Book of Faith in hopes that a little bibliotherapy would bring my psyche back to the right place—and it did. Although I’m unsure what was ahold of my spirit, I’m glad I got myself on the right track.
So if you’re anything like me, and need a little encouragement for the not-so-good days, just know this:
. . . whenever you face trials of any kind, consider it nothing but joy, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance; and let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking in nothing.
